Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on January 4, 2021
No new case of COVID-19 was found in Hubei on January 4. Yesterday saw no new suspected case, discharged case or death.
No asymptomatic case was found in Hubei on January 4. No asymptomatic case developed to the c0nfirmed one. No patient had been discharged from quarantine. Four asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine (all are inbound passengers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on December 21). 266 close contacts were under medical quarantine (one patient was close contact of asymptomatic carriers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on December 7; a total of 263 were close contacts of asymptomatic carriers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on December 21; the other two were close contacts of COVID-19 c0nfirmed patients outside the province).
There is no c0nfirmed case or suspected case currently. As of 24:00, January 4, a total of 63,637 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. 68,149 cumulative c0nfirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
