Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on April 5, 2021
No new case of COVID-19 was found in Hubei on April 5. Yesterday saw no new suspected case, discharged case or death.
No asymptomatic case was found in Hubei on April 5. No asymptomatic case developed to the c0nfirmed one. No patient had been discharged from quarantine. Two asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine （both were inbound passengers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan: one arrived on March 15 and another on March 22）. 255 close contacts were under medical quarantine （one was close contact of the asymptomatic patient on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 1; six were close contacts of the asymptomatic patients on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 15; 248 were close contacts of the c0nfirmed patient and asymptomatic patient on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 22）.
There is one c0nfirmed case （an inbound passenger on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on March 22） and no suspected case. As of 24:00, April 5, a total of 63,639 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,152 cumulative c0nfirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
